Mediawiki is a very internationalized script and includes already a lot of language files, but the softaculous install only proposes english language.
It is only one variable to set in LocalSettings.php file:
Code # Site language code, should be one of the list in ./languages/Names.php
$wgLanguageCode = "en";
Could be someting like:
Code # Site language code, should be one of the list in ./languages/Names.php
$wgLanguageCode = "[[language]]";
As this is the way softaculous already includes datas in that file.
I personaly changed it to "fr".
