I decided to purchase a license for WordPress to be installed locally on my AMPPS installation. The purchase went through but I find no way to "install" it. It appears to want a publicly accessible website somewhere online, rather than download and install WordPress locally. Am I mistaken?

I have a valid User ID and Validation code.

Help please.

Sorry for the delay in response.

You can download and install AMPPS from the downloads page :
https://www.ampps.com/downloads/

Once you have installed AMPPS you can refer to the following guide on how to apply AMPPS license :
https://ampps.com/docs/endusers/how-to-enter-your-license-key/

Then you can refer to the following guide on how to install WordPress ;
https://ampps.com/docs/endusers/how-to-install-wordpress/
