 How to add Softaculous to existing accounts? (5 Replies, Read 3925 times)

I moved a large amount of accounts from a server that once used Fantastico, to a server with Softaculous installed. When I create a new account, the Softaculous icon shows up in the cPanel x3 themes, but it doesn't show up in the accounts that were previously moved over.

How do I add the Softaculous icon to the old accounts?

Sir please run this command:
root> php /usr/local/cpanel/bin/register_cpanelplugin /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/softaculous.cpanelplugin

root> php ln -s /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/enduser /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/softaculous

I ran both commands but the Softaculous link still isn't showing up in the customer's cPanel. The customer is using the x3 skin, and when I create a brand new account, the icon DOES show up.

Sorry sir my mistake.
The commands are:
root> /usr/local/cpanel/bin/register_cpanelplugin /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/softaculous.cpanelplugin

root> /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_sprites

It will tell somethnig about Rebuilding sprites.

Also please check the Packages in WHM for the old accounts.
Does it have Softaculous Ticked.
