Moodle Upgrade, Upgrading Modle 2.4.3 to 2.5 (7 Replies, Read 10497 times)

Group: NOC Post Group: Newbie Posts: 5 Status:	I don't seem to be able to upgrade a Moodle 2.4.3 installation to Moodle 2.5. Is there a reason why this isn't available?

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 26 Status:	Same thing here. Oddly the cron job is alerting by email to clients with version 2.3 to upgrade to 2.5 but there is not upgrade option when they go into Softaculous section.

Group: Softaculous Team Post Group: Super Member Posts: 5677 Status:	Hi, This is a major upgrade and the Moodle upgrade utility does not allow update and it requires to rename the old installation and unzip the new version files and then manually copy the modules and plugin files to the new version. This can cause issues with the users as users have many customization in their plugins which can cause issues hence we have disabled upgrade capability at the moment.
