Why you don't use FTP?
I use Explorer to upload some small database and no issues.

Have you considered to use FTP for upload big file?! A software like LiveZilla.
Yes I did use FTP to upload files. But that is a workaround solution. I use extplorer to compress or extract zip files. It has many features. It is a part of webuzo. So why use something else? I am sure the problem I have been facing can easily be solved.  :)

thanks @andiklive.

1- where is it on webuzo panel?
2- Yes I did but I will do that again and I will let you know.
3- actually, case 3 seems different. It is related with phpmyadmin :( But let me try again

Thanks for your suggestions :)

actually phpmyadmin is related on php config too, since its build based on php.
i doubt its in php.ini there max upload limit and max post limit that you says before.

@andiklive,

At first, I wrote that I can't find my.conf.file and you replied
Quote
its available on webuzo panel, never had issues before.

And I asked you
Quote
1- where is it on webuzo panel?
but you do not reply. Where do you see my.conf file in webuzo panel? Please tell me.

I also wrote that

I did change

php.ini values like this:

post_max_size = 64M

upload_max_filesize = 64M

memory_limit = 128M

But still no solution  :-(

Hello

I am a new webuzo user. I was so happy to go for it 1 month
ago. But now I see that it has several issues and unfortunately there
is not much documentation to solve them. I will list the ones that put
me down working on my project. So any help is highly appreciated.

1-
After a clean install, there is no my.conf file. I know how to solve
this. But I still wonder why softaculous can't end such a small problem.
Here is my solution:

            - install mariadb and click on checkbox to remove mysql
            - install mysql and click on checkbox to remove mariadb
            - install mariadb and click on checkbox to remove mysql

HURRAYYYY after these 3 weird steps, I can see my.conf file. Can you imagine how smart the solution is      ? Is there a simpler one please?

Thank you for reporting the above issue to us. We have checked the same and were able to replicate the issue at our end. It seems that there was a bug in the MariaDB package, which was causing the issue. This was solved in the MySQL package but not in MariaDB package. Hence its was causing the issue. We have resolved the issue and shall release the fixed MariaDB package soon.

2-
Extplorer is not uploading some files. I can't figure out which files
it does and which files it does not. It does not upload large files
bigger than 2MB. It does not upload zip, gz files if they are very small
but their unpacked size is more than 2MB. Of course I did change
php.ini values like this:

post_max_size = 64M
upload_max_filesize = 64M
memory_limit = 128M

But still no solution

This is a known issue and has been reported to the script vendor, but we have yet not received any reply from the script vendor. We are trying to incorporate other file manager in Webuzo panel. We advice you to use an another FTP/SSH client for the time being like FileZilla or WinSCP, etc...

3- I have a backup site which I used wpml inside. I have mysql dump file as compressed (gzip) and uncompressed. Whenever I tried to import that file I run into "413 Request Entity Too Large" problem. I know it is related with wpml because there is no problem in importing ordinary sql files. But I hope there is a solution for this. I tried to change upload size, memory limits. And they did not help. Later as a last resort I tried adminer. I installed it and it imported everything very easily. SO I cannot figure out why phpmyadmin can't import the same file and gives "413 Request Entity Too Large" while adminer imports that same file easily? But I still cannot solve my problem since I cannot upload my old "wp-content.zip" file using extplorer.

Thanks for helping

Maybe you got me wrong. When I make a fresh install of webzuo, there is no my.conf file. Since mysql is default option in webuzo installation, why do you say mariadb is causing this? I think it has nothing to do with mariadb not to have my.conf file when webuzo installed.

Maybe you should have informed us about this. I did not seen any entry related with Extplorer issue. And ftp is a solution but I need to compress/decompress zipped files. That requires going back to webzuo for these operations. That makes ftp is just a secondary and temporary solution unfortunately.

Actually I already have  Ticket #216898. Support is on it. I am waiting for their answer. But if you can make it quicker, I will be happy :)
