On the left, I have a WP kit link which uses the WordPress icon. I want to change the Softaculous icon on the side to something like an open box like this:

https://fontawesome.com/icons/box-open?f=classic&s=solid

I want to offer both WordPress options so the user can choose.

But both having WordPress icons may seem confusing.

Hi,

The icon can be customized from the following cPanel Jupiter theme file :
/usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/jupiter/core/partials/main_menu_nav_items.html.tt

This file will be overwritten after cPanel updates so you will need to configure a cpupdate hook to re-apply your changes.

Do let us know if you have any questions.

Yes, it’s usually possible depending on your hosting setup and permissions, but it often requires modifying the cPanel branding or using a custom theme/plugin on WordPress. For creating clearer visual guides while explaining steps, tools like https://photocat.com/image-extender/extend photos with ai can help improve and expand screenshots for better documentation.

That makes sense—using two different WordPress icons could definitely confuse users. A better approach would be to keep the WordPress icon for the WP Kit link and switch Softaculous to something more neutral like an “open box” or installer-style icon (like the Font Awesome box-open you shared). That way users can instantly distinguish between “WordPress setup” and “app installer.”
Also, if you’re creating demo visuals or tutorials for this setup, using an aplikasi untuk HD video can help make the interface clearer and more professional-looking.
