Hi,

How do I specify a 3rd authoritative name server?
Webuzo only permits 2.
https://webuzo.com/docs/v2/manage-nameservers/

Is there a way to add more into the dns zone file template?

I've got the additional authoritative namservers into the dns template by manually adding this at the top of  /var/webuzo/conf/default_dns.conf

Code

    {
        "name": "domain_name.",
        "ttl": "7200",
        "class": "IN",
        "type": "NS",
        "record": "ns3.my.hosting.domain."
    },

only issue is this record shows up to end clients and is editable unlike ns1 & ns2 which are hidden from them. but at least webuzo is creating properly authorised dns zones.

it'll do for now, while we wait for webuzo to support 2-4 nameservers

We are going to add the support for 4 namaservers in new version 4.6.2

For now if you want more NS record for a domain then you can do it by adding NS record from admin panel -> advance dns setting . add record and then you can select NS type and in name field you just put @ and in NS field you can put your nameser.

I need to add one more scenario:

Cpanel to Webuzo migration for resellers account:

Have anyone done this before?

I did a test creating the reseller account in webuzo with same username as the cpanel server and added personalized DNS (same as now) for that reseller account, then I migrated a test account into webuzo using the cpanel migration tool, the account was recognized and was auto added as part of the reseller, in fact the name.conf was created in webuzo with the same DNS the account have under that reseller in Cpanel.

My question is: Will the DNS change in webuzo named.conf for that reseller when I do the DNS changes for that reseller?
