I noticed that my user:Library:Audio :P lug-Ins:Components folder didn't have components for most of my plug-ins so I did a search and found those I didn't find there are actually in my hard-drive:Library:Audio :P lug-Ins:Components folder. It looks to me that the plug-ins that came with an installer actually put them there. Makes sense as that makes them available to all users on the computer.
