Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 1 Status:	Hi I am using softaculous to help me upgrade joomla for several similar accounts. I use a separate cpanel server, for testing the upgrade. I have the same accounts on this server, so everything is mostly the same. I am moving the backups by copying the ~/.softaculous/backup and the ~/softaculous_backups/ files. When I tried to restore after copying, the files restored but the database did not. There was no error message. Instead, I was told that the restore had been successful, I think this should warn you if the database restore was not successful. I only realised because the old database I had already upgraded so there were no database tables to fix. I have cleanly worked around this by first deleting the installation, and then restoring the backup But I still have a problem, the first time I discovered I restored only the database. Now the installation thinks it has version 2.5.9 of Joomla even though it is 2.5.14. is this the right place to report this bug how can I fix the installation so it is the correct version of Joomla.
