Hi ChronicD, could you please tell me what of those instructions worked for you? or you did all of them?
Im in a similar situation but on OSX Mavericks. I dont know why, but i had configured 127.0.0.1 localhost before, and i removed it and it works a little bit faster. But sometimes it just hangs, like a bottle neck if you understand. Just didnt tried 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1, you think it could work?
