 WordPress package not installing, Ampps hangs installing WordPress (1 Replies, Read 6266 times)

Ampps installs fine Apache and MySQL all start fine. However  after inputting the required information for a WordPress install everything just hangs  saying "Downloading Package" nothing else happens...been that way for over a half hour. Any ideas?

Hi wayneseymour,

Go to Ampps\ampps\scripts folder and delete wp.zip file.
Restart Ampps And try to install wordpress.
