I recently moved to a cPanel/WHM server from a DirectAdmin server. I had Softaculous installed on my DirectAdmin server and wanted to move my license to my new cPanel server. I attempted to install and I am getting the following error:

Site error: the file /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/enduser/main/functions.php
requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be
installed by the site administrator.

I have contacted my host for support and they tell my ionCube PHP Loader is installed and it is version 5.2. I have verified this with running a php info through my billing script on my website. I am not sure if there is a problem with Softaculous or with my server. Could my ionCube install be in a weird place that Softaculous would not know?

Hi,

Please run the following command:
Root> touch /var/cpanel/usecpphp

It will work.

Regards,
Alons
