I realize this post is a couple years old, but I have the same issue when duplicating a staging site with InMotion Hosting using Softaculous. What doesn't copy with Divi: Customizer settings and Theme Options settings.

For those who might find this useful, a quick workaround is to export you Customizer and Theme Options settings (click up/down arrows near the top) from the staging site and import them into the final destination website. It takes maybe 2-3 minutes, and it saves you from having to go in and check what didn't transfer, fixing it, etc.
