Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 22 Status:	I might add that I am now more-or-less decided on XAMPP. I am developing a simple application to edit the hosts file and to simplify the process of adding a virtual host. It should be ready to try out in a few days. The application is an Electron app, so it will work on both Mac and Windows. Currently I am developing on the Mac, but I hope to have the Windows version tested soon. This is, in my opinion the only real advantage of AMPPS: the ease of creating a virtual host. Once my application is ready, I can’t see any other reason to persist with AMPPS which appears to have been abandoned.
