Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Good afternoon Missing a temporary folder. I get this error when trying to upload a simple image. I tried to change the config.php and added this code. define('WP_TEMP_DIR', dirname(__FILE__) . '/wp-content/temp/'); added a temp file Yet it doesnt work, I do know that this is a wordpress solution to my problem, yet I cant find the sitepad solution on your forum. There is no search function and I'm to fuming to search for it in you big forum. Can someone please help me? At the moment I feel dumb for not just installing a wordpress website instead of using sitepad. The many small inconviences are making me not a fan and its absolutly not drag and drop like it's advertised! Thank you for your time Regards Fei.

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	To clarify: I used the softaculous installer to isntall Sitepad on the server. All went smooth. If you use the sitepad plugin at their own website you can uplad pictures and create sites there then publish to the Address you want. This works fine! But if you installed like me and try to upload your own pictures for your own website, using the sitepad plugin it doesn't work. Maybe the installer forgot to install the TMP file or maybe it's my own fault for not creating one myself. As a complete noob to server related thing I suspect its the latter, but still I think tthere should be a config file of sitepad itself where you can change the code or you should have atleast thought of this when you create an auto installer for your plugin. I won't be the only noob who will try this plugin in the future and as all things in IT. If you claim to be drag and drop, you should be able to dodge these mistakes that users can make by making the installer bulletproof w/O any custom PHP or file editing from the user. I hope someone will reply and help me out f my misery. I want to upload it on my own hosting not at the sitepad website. Thanks in advance! Regards Fei.

If I understand you correctly, you want to have a directory on the hosted server to temporarily store your images. Personally, I don't think either of us would choose month-based image storage if we were developing the SitePad software by ourselves. You are not there only with creation of a directory, you also have to look at the directory rights. I am using a self-created sub directory on the hosted server that I have given access to an FTP account. With the free Filezilla FTP program I can upload and download and refer in my web pages in complete freedom of a self-applied structure. Perhaps this is also working for you. Quote and its absolutly not drag and drop like it's advertise For a beginner with little knowledge, you can go a long way with drag and drop in SitePad. When you want to do complex things, you can achieve this by using HTML, CSS and javascript via the Rich Text and Embed widgets. Doing complex things does have the downside of requiring a learning curve that increases with complexity. So one-fit-all has a price.
