Local restoration from a Softaculous backup

Hi,

Yes you can do that but you will need to replace the paths and urls in the database manually after restoring the site on local.

If you use AMPPS you can directly import the live site using FTP credentials and all the site data will be imported with replaced urls and paths to your local machine.
