Cannot install softaculous using the script

I just downloaded the script using wget from the softaculous web page

Then i got this error message: ioncube loader is not loaded. please enable it to continue installation

I added this line to my php.ini: zend_extension=/usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.5.so

And i still get the error message.
