Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

We missed this thread hence the update took long.

We have released the updated WordPress package today which improves the plugins/themes update functionality.

The package should reach across all servers within 24 hours.

Now while updating WordPress plugins/themes Softaculous will delete the existing plugin/theme folder and then unzip the new plugin/theme package to avoid stale files being left over.

Softaculous will also enable Maintenance Mode during the upgrade process.
