INFO.XML file could not be found, trying to install some software generates error (8 Replies, Read 14963 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Hi, I just installed Softaculous and when trying to install apps such as joomla or magento, it errors out with: The INFO.XML file could not be found! Please report this to the server administrator. Any idea's to get this fixed? Thanks!

Group: Softaculous Team Post Group: Super Member Posts: 5804 Status:	Hi, The fix is to run the CRON command: http://softaculous.com/docs/Immediate_update This happens if the scripts are not downloaded. Group: Softaculous Team Post Group: Super Member Posts: 5804 Status:	Hi, Sir your issue has been resolved. The packages were not downloaded because the /var/softaculous/ directory was not present. I just created the directory and executed the CRON command and it now works.
