 General Question - WP Update, Question regarding WP update (1 Replies, Read 1075 times)

Hello,

I have a question and I'm not sure what to do. On my WP Control Panel it says that the latest version of WordPress is 4.7.4 but if I go to my hosting CP and access the Software > Softaculous Apps Installer an update pops up, it says that my WP version is outdated and that I need to update to version 4.8.3, my question is if I click update from there would it update and keep my data and my site as it is or it will erase everything and install a clean version of WP?
I don't know what to do because of this, I'll wait for your answers.
