Hi there
this isn't so much of an AMPPS problem - the software is fantastic, and addresses almost all the problems and issues I've had previously with MAMP, XAMPP, Bitnami, etc.
It's more about the environment it's installed in - I placed the AMPPS folder in /Applications on my Mac, as the install process recommends. However, because /Applications is owned by the system not my user, whenever I make a change it asks for my admin password. Additionally, when I access files across the network I get errors saying I can't save changes.
I understand all of this is probably intended in order to maintain security and because AMPPS is basically a local development solution. I'm just wondering if there's a simple workaround - like moving the AMPPS folder to another location, or changing permissions.
Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated, and thanks for such a great piece of software.
