 Newbie: How do I stop emails from Softaculous., Getting numerous emails about updates but cannot see where to stop them (1 Replies, Read 1666 times)

I have setup a new domain, with Wordpress hosting by 1and1 IONOS and I have no idea how to get to the Cpanel for Sofaculous. I called the support at 1and1 and they claimed the settings were my Gmail account... Which I am sure they are not.

How would I get to my Cpanel to stop the constant emails, and what is Softaculous?

If anyone can help me get to it with my domain (www.everydayj.co.uk) I would be grateful

Hi,

You must have received cPanel login details in the email that you received after you purchased web hosting from your host (1and1).

Once you are able to find the login details you can refer to the following guide on how to disable email update notifications :
https://www.softaculous.com/docs/enduser/unsubscribe-email-notifications/

The emails are sent by Softaculous installed on your cPanel server itself hence we do not have control over it from our side since we do not have access to that server.

This can be disabled by logging into your cPanel account only.
