Newbie to Softaculous here. I have the free version installed on my dedicated server but I have some questions before I purchase the full license.

(1) Does the Softaculous "software update" that I have running everyday in cron update ONLY the initial installations packages or does it also update the websites that have already been deployed i.e. a forum or Wordperfect site for example.

(2)If the deployed websites are not updated is there any way to automate that process?

(3)Is there a corresponding "uninstall" script that can be used to remove software that has been installed so we can try them first and remove if we don't like the software?

(4)For the IP based license should we specify the virtual host IP address that Apache is using or the system address?  I assume the script is checking the address for validity.

(5)Is there a "showcase" like site where we can test and try out all the software options?

Sorry for the delay in response. Below are the answers to your questions.

1. The cron that executes daily does not update your existing installations by default.

2. You can choose the auto upgrade option while installing the app or from the edit installation page to auto update the installations as soon as the new version is available :

3. Yes you can uninstall the app using the following guide :

4. You need to purchase the license for the public IP of the server. You can execute the following command to get the IP for which you need to purchase the license :
