 Cloning and moving on..., Advice on cloning (1 Replies, Read 795 times)

Hi,

I am creating a new e-commerce website installed with Softaclous.

I have found it easier to clone the site as I progress and when I get to a point where I am happy and don't want to make errors with a new addition/change, instead of backing up and restoring I clone the site and start working on the new clone. If it goes wrong I go back to the last clone and work on it from there.

The end result to go live will be the last clone.  I will start backing up when the site is finished.

Is this wrong? Is there anything that goes wrong with this system?

Hi,


The process seems good.

Once you are live you can use Backups and Restore.
