In what file can we find the mouse over descriptions? (one short phrase displayed when we mouse over the script title on the left side). I want to translate them.

I found two files:
/softaculous/enduser/dscripts.php
/softaculous/enduser/scripts.php
I edited the mouse over descriptions there with no effect.
Are these two files still used? can we simply delete them if not in use?

Hi,

The file dscripts.php is not used any more. But the scripts.php is used so you should not delete scripts.php
The description that you need is in the following file:
/softaculous/enduser/iscripts.php
But the file is regenerated after the CRON runs.

Thanks.
So I made a full french iscrips.php file that I will upgrade after each script upgrade to make sure it will be used instead of the original one.

Hi,

Sir the iscripts.php will be regenerated after every CRON i.e. everyday when the CRON runs automatically.
Even if there is no script updates the iscripts.php will be generated when the CRON runs.

Yes I understand that, but is there another solution to have these descriptions in another language?
I could make another cron to rename the new original iscript file everyday and put the french file instead. Then manually check if there are new scripts added in the array.

Or I can send you my file and you find a way to use it. For instance in the admin settings we could select which file would be called by softaculous (original iscript or language-iscript file).
When the everyday cron runs, both files would be overwritten (original in english, and language-iscript in another language), and if there are new scripts in the script array, you add them in english  in both files. Periodically I would send you the french translation for recently added scripts.
Only a suggestion.

Hi,

At the moment there is no other solution for this.
We will try to add this in future versions of Softaculous.
