 info.xml still, after update and cron still get error (7 Replies, Read 4025 times)

I ran the update as found in the forum and have run the cron job as sent to me by email.  I still get the info.xml not found when I try to install some programs, not all programs but a significant number.

me to the same problem and i have run the command but the same problem :

The INFO.XML file could not be found! Please report this to the server administrator.

Hi,

The CRON takes time to download the scripts.
Its nearly 300-500 MB
Please let it complete properly.
If you aborted in between just run the command again.

I done as Alons said about letting it complete properly. Problem is, after quite awhile of waiting, I get this error message in my ssh command window that said the software has caused an abort.

Still get the INFO.XML error. What now?

It looks like it might be time for you to take these complaints seriously.  I have given CRON enough time - I think three days is long enough and this is not my first complaint and it certainly is not the first complaint on this board.  Are you ready to issue refunds?

Hmmm Im wondering why there are so many errors with Softaculous. I'm a bit scared to invest in Softaculous :( Im planning to have a negotiation with you alons about the pricing, what is exactly sales and support email address? Don't you have a ticket system?

The ticket system is being made.
It needs to be well integrated with our System and hence we are modifying one to do it.

Also please understand that there are many differences in server environments.
Many a times the IP given is wrong and we are told it still shows free. There are bugs and stuff.
If there are bugs we find we update ASAP. And we also support all our FREE and PREMIUM users.
And softaculous is now present nearly on 2500 servers.
