 cPanel 11.25 = Error uncompressing scripts (5 Replies, Read 3216 times)

Hi.. I checked the forums and I think some other people were having this problem.

I am running cPanel 11.25, the latest version and I am getting "Error uncompressing script" errors on several scripts such as Wordpress, SMF etc.

I have gone to /var/softaculous and tried to remove the .zip files, but it doesn't delete. It just stays there and still doesn't work.

Is this problem to do with conflicts between cPanel and Softaculous?

You will have to be root to delete the .zip files.

But I was in root.. I logged into root SSH. For some reason, it just doesn't delete. I am using "rm filename.zip" command, and they don't delete or it gives an error saying the file doesn't exist. I've tried Update Settings several times and it still doesn't work =(

Specify the full path
rm -f /var/softaculous/filename.zip

You can use a Window Shell Client like WinSCP:
