I wanted to use AMPPS in order to play around with symfony2 but after downloading the latest version of symfony2.1.2 when I run the config I get that error

Install PHP 5.3.17 or newer (or downgrade to an earlier PHP version)

I noticed that on windows version the version is 5.4.x
I would like to ask how easy and what steps I must follow in order to upgrade the php version to the latest or at least version 5.3.17

Thanks for your help

Hi,

AMPPS 1.9 comes with PHP 5.3.16 and 5.2.17.
If you want to change PHP versions then do the following steps,

Goto AMPPS Control Center,
Select PHP tab,
Then select Change PHP Version.

If you want to use PHP 5.3.17 then you have to wait for the next version of AMPPS.
