updating joomla

updating joomla, getting softaculous to update joomla (1 Replies, Read 2587 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	I have Softaculous installed with my hosting company Siteground. I have a couple of issues that may be inter-related. I have three sites that all use the same template and that had joomla preinstalled with the template. I did not use softaculous to install the joomla for these sites. I want to use Softaculous to update a joomla 3.0.1 site that I installed without Softaculous. How do I get Softaculous to find this site so that softaculous includes it in the auto updates? The second site is included in the Softaculous list of joomla sites but it wont update because it says "The URL and DIRECTORY name do not match" but they do. So how can I add joomla sites to Softaculous so that they are included in the update list and how can I get more access to the info softaculous has on my sites, besides details, so i can solve the discrepancy between the URL and Directory. Thank you
