Hi,

I installed Ampps for windows to D:\Ampps..
Now I tried to move the htdocs from D:\Ampps\www to D:\Website\www, and
move mysql data from C:\Ampps\mysql\data to D:\Ampps\mysql\data..

It's not a problem for the htdocs, because Ampps have a feature to create a domain/alias.. but, I get a problem after moving mysql data configuration in C:\Ampps\mysql\my.ini.. I have moved/copied all of C:\Ampps\mysql\data to D:\Website\mysql\data.. but MySQL server/service still won't start..

So how I can be move mysql data compeletely?

Hi,

From Ampps\mysql\data just keep the folders. Remove all files like ibdata1, ib_logfile*, mysql-bin.index, mysql-bin.*, etc. Also restore the default configuration from AMPPS: Control Center -> MySQL -> Restore Default Configuration. And try starting MySQL server.

Delete .err file in data folder too. If MySQL server doesn't start mail us the .err file. We will look into it.
