Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 5 Status:	I have a question on something that I'm having a little problem with. If I m moving a Ampps Wordpress site that is running only internally on say 192.168.0.200 and am moving the whole installation to a new server that is say 192.168.0.201. I assumed I could backup the site and restore on the new server but am not having any luck. Any ideas of the best approach for doing this? Thank you

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 27 Status:	Hi, You can create a domain with a name 192.168.0.201. Then Clone the installation to that domain. Clone feature is enabled for WordPress. https://www.softaculous.com/docs/Clone URL's in the database, site anywhere will be replaced by new domain. Edited by jigar : December 27, 2013, 6:25 am
