Hi Tidus,

I don't see  the folder structure you're talking about... There is no "Var" folder

There is no such structure as you defined...  "/Applications/AMPPS/var/<machine-name>.err"

However there is an error file located in the following folder structure:
"Program Files (x86)\Ampps\mysql\data\" the file in this case is attached.

I installed a brand new OS - Win7 in a Virtual Machine... it was working but the exact same issue with MySQL not starting eventually happened.

Thanks for helping.

Hi,

Sorry my mistake.

Please take a backup of your database by copying Ampps/mysql/data folder first.

Then do the following:
1. Open Ampps Application -> MySQL Tab -> Configuration.

2. In [mysqld] section, add the following line:

innodb_force_recovery = 1

3. Save the file and try starting MySQL

4. Remove that line which you just added and Save.
