 Softaculous install Ubuntu ISPManager, Seg faults during install (2 Replies, Read 6221 times)

Greetings folks!



I'm installing Softaculous on the Ubuntu 8.04 x64 image.  I've have
ISPManager running for many months already.  After I corrected the
ioncube php errors, I ran the installer with /usr/bin/php
/usr/local/install_softaculous.php.  First it crapped out because gcc
wasn't on the system.  A quick apt-get fixed that problem.  Re-ran the
installer and it couldn't find headers (stdio.h).  So I grabbed via
apt-get lib6dev.  Re-ran the installer and it seg faults.  Here's the
output:

Anyone installed softaculous under ISPManager yet?

Hi,

Softaculous is working well in ISP Manager, but it does require certain things like GCC and everything to install properly.
Can you please check whether the following file was created:
/usr/local/softaculous/comp

Yes, a file named comp exists in the softaculous directory.
