Hi,

I created a Windows 2008 VPS using Virtualizor template  and installed Inter Download Manager to test the Download speed. I used multiple URL to check the speed and none of them gave me more than 5 MB per second while the main node download speed for the same link is 5 times faster!

Downloading in the main server:

Downloading in the VPS:

This is the VPS settings:

Any idea how can this be fixed?

Hi,

Can you change the network interface type to "virtio" and check.
Also are you facing the issue in windows only or even on a linux VPS?

If you are still face the same issue then please open a support ticket so that we can guide you accordingly.

Support changed it to e100 and now it is fixed, but can you tell me which one is better in this case?

I would always use Virtio on an OS that supports it.

However with windows you would need to install with the Virtio drivers, which can be downloaded as a seperate ISO.
