 NGINX config rewrites itself on startup, /usr/local/apps/nginx/etc/conf.d/webuzoVH.conf (1 Replies, Read 18960 times)

Dear webuzo,

I understand that you have failsafe measures in place if users mess up configurations but can you give an option to allow customizations?

Regarding this file /usr/local/apps/nginx/etc/conf.d/webuzoVH.conf

I am running a websocked so I need one of the domains to proxy a local port.
My config runs perfectly fine. After applied > service nginx restart > no problems.
However, webuzo keeps overwriting my file with the default conf coming from the domain management. This happens every day, randomly, even if I dont restart the server. How to prevent this?
No, the rules cannot be written on another conf file.

Here is an alternative to this
http://www.webuzo.com/wiki/Edit_Extra_Configuration_File

Do not modify webuzoVH.conf  in anyway as it can lead to other issues on the server as well.
