 cant mount other hard drive to lvm, error 0 inval storage (1 Replies, Read 2057 times)

ok so im tring to add the other hard drive i have on the software add hard drive

when i select lvm
and i use dev/new_vol_group

i get this error
The following errors were found :

           
  • Server ID : 0 Error : Invalid storage
[root@s92996 ~]# vgs
  VG            #PV #LV #SN Attr  VSize  VFree
  new_vol_group  1  0  0 wz--n-  1.82t 1.82t
  vg              1  3  0 wz--n- 118.97g    0

so what am i doing wrong... i dont understand what im missing here

Hi,


Does the Volume group "new_vol_group" exist on the Master server ?

May I know which virtualization is installed on your master server ? KVM/OpenVZ or any other ?
