is this possible?
I want to move all VPSs in the first server to the second server.

IPs must be same though.. basically I want to do 'clone move or clone copy'.
i need to move entire vps with same ip.
how can I achieve this?

Clone or Migrate in the control menu basically requires additional IPs.

anyone have done this successfully?

Thank you very much.

I have migrated vps from one server to another and I have always ticked the box that says keep the same IP's and never had any trouble with that.
Is that what you are after?

I get the error below,

The following IP(s) are not shared between the destination and source server and hence can not be preserved ( 192.95.xx.xx )

Do you also tick "delete the source VPS"?

"delete the source VPS" I leave that unchecked until I have made sure the migration is successful, then boot up into the new migrated vps. Once checked to make sure all is well then I just delete the old vps.

I think the IP error you are getting is because the IP's are allocated to the one server only? You may need to get the data center to assign the IP's to your other server as well.

is it something like load balancing IP? i can only choose one direction from IP. i can route the IP either 1st server or 2nd server. or do you register your IPs in IP Pools menu in Virtualizor CP? I didnt do it.

Yes, put all available IP's in the IP pool list.
I didn't think you could even create vps if they were not in the list.
Not sure about a load balancing IP, don't think that has anything to do with this problem.

I know this is an old thread, but if someone searches for a solution for that....

If you want to keep the IP´s after migration / move you need to:

1. tick the proper checkbox at the migration page
2. Make sure the IPPOOL where the IPs reside is made available to both server, the source AND the target. You may need to edit the pool and select both server.

It does´nt matter if they are routed properly by the datacenter. This, of course, needs to be done to get the VM back online after moving to another server.

Hi,
First please check if the IP Pool is shared between both, the source and the destination server.

After that you can start migration, just check the preserve IP option if you need the vps after migration to have the same ip as before.
Also if you need to check whether the migration is successful please do not delete the source vps. Just an advice
