Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 1 Status:	I want to move my Wordpress blog and it's domain to a new server. The domain will have the same DNS as I'm with the same host, just wanting to move to another server. I know I can export the database files in Softaculous but I don't know what to do next. The main problem seems to be that I can't move the blog to the new server because the domain is still linked to my current server. I could set up a dummy blog on the new server then transfer the files and database over once I have deleted the old blog and moved the domain over. But how do I move the dummy blog files to the domain once it is on my new server? I'd appreciate if someone could explain the steps to accomplish this, or show me a better way to move my blog.
