Hi, I installed WP using Softaculous, and when it asked for protocol I chose http, so now it only loads the website when someone type on http, and when I type it with www, it won't load. Is there anyway for it to load both? And shouldn't there be an option to choose both? Thank You.

Hi,

Wordpress stores the Full path in the database.
Hence you must choose between the two.

Then how can I make it so it loads www. and http://?

Hi,

Choose the http://www option in Softaculous.
Also make sure that http://www.yourdomain.com is actually working.

It should work even if you just choose http://
I think your domain is not configured for www.yourdomain.com

Our news WordPress blog is working in both cases:
http://www.softaculous.com/news/
http://softaculous.com/news/

Yeh, that's what I thought, but I used to install phpBB on that domain, and I didn't do anything special, but both link works? So what should I do now to get both working.

I just checked and I do have the www cname, but it's still not loading for me. the site is http://www.krazeshare.info tell me if the www. works for you? Cause when I used to use Softaculous, it doesn't ask for protocol, now that it does, my www. doesn't load anymore.

Hi,

It is loading sir:
http://www.krazeshare.info

But it redirects to http://krazeshare.info
This is done by WordPress.

You can change these settings in WordPress itself if you want.
