Joomla 3.9.16 was released on 10th March We released this package in Softaculous on 11th March : https://www.softaculous.com/news/scripts/updated-joomla-to-3-9-16-20144.html Generally we release the updated package within a day. However once the package is released by us the CRON job on your server which is executed once every 24 hours downloads the updated packages. Hence it seems it could take upto 2 days. You can find our news release blog here : https://www.softaculous.com/news/ Once the update appears here it means the update package was released by us. After this if you ask your host to run the cron command manually it will download the package immediately and you will not need to wait for the cron to execute automatically.
