 Installation error, requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator (4 Replies, Read 2948 times)

Hello,

I am getting the following error during the install from WHM.

requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

I have ioncube loaders installed. I have even recompiled apache just to make sure. I'm not sure what to try so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

If you have ioncube installed, please mention the path of ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so file in php.ini

in short append following line in php.ini as
zend_extension = "/usr/local/lib/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so"

*the path mentioned here is indicative...
please include the path where is .so file is located as per your configuartion..

Hello,

ok i have opened my php.ini file and this is at the bottom already:

zend_extension="/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer-3.3.9/php-5.2.x/ZendOptimizer.so"

Is this correct? Please advise me as to what i need to change?

Hello,

Ok i added that to the bottom of my php.ini file but i still get the error? It won't install :squi: I have never had this probblem before. I have installed it on several servers in the past without any problems. Not sure what to try? I am using php 5.3.3 and all modules are installed.

But you say,you are using PHP 5.3.3. thus you need ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so

you are suppose to add ioncube as per you PHP version
