SoftWP makes building a fully functional WordPress website easy, even for beginners.
Featuring a seamless on-boarding process. Quickly become familiar with WordPress using the built-in assistant to guide users through key features, helping them understand essential functionalities.
Additionally, a curated list of in-house WordPress plugins with an included pro license and more to come.
SoftWP plugin also comes with AI functionality that is a helpful writing assistant to help you write better content.
Onboarding
A quick on-boarding process that assists users in creating a purposeful website by suggesting necessary plugins to add the required functionality and choosing from hundreds of design options.
The on-boarding starts when you install WordPress using Softaculous and click/visit the Admin URL of your website.
You will be greeted with the on-boarding steps required to create your website.
You can choose to continue or skip.
On the second step, you will be able to choose from the listed categories. This defines the purpose of your website, which in turn suggests your related plugins and themes on the next steps.
The third step helps you set your website’s title.
On the fourth step, select from the suggested categories that will help you enhance website functionality and security. Currently, most of these categories have our in-house plugins covering essential areas like SEO optimization, two-factor authentication (2FA), etc. We’re continuously expanding our offerings by adding more plugins that are developed in-house and from other vendors.
We also are planning new categories to meet evolving website needs.
Over, step 5 you will choose the theme from the curated list of unique designs from PopularFx and then select the pages you want to import to your website. Choose/skip the stock images bundled in the theme. Skipping stock images on your website will show placeholders in place of images.

That’s all, you will be greeted with the completion page, from there you can navigate to your website URL to view your creation, to the WordPress Dashboard to check and change further settings, and to SoftWP Assistant which has the admin tours, settings and options, discussed in the next section.
Assistant
SoftWP includes an Assistant that guides users through WordPress features. With instructional tour prompts and quick links to important pages in the WordPress admin panel, thus making it easy for users to access essential settings and functionality in just a few clicks.
Assistant comprises of 3 main sections. The Tours, Recommended Features, and Quick links.
Tours
The Tours section is your personal guide to mastering WordPress and its essential features. By selecting a topic, like the WordPress Admin Dashboard, you’ll be taken through a step-by-step interactive tour.
Each tour breaks down key settings, options, and features available while explaining their uses.
Whether you’re a beginner wanting to understand the basics or an experienced user exploring new features, the Tours feature simplifies learning and navigation, ensuring you make the most out of your WordPress experience.
Recommended Features
The Recommended Features section offers tailored tools and plugins that can enhance your website’s performance, security, and functionality. Each feature includes a brief description so you can quickly assess its benefits.
With options like Increase Website Traffic (SEO) and Page Builder, these recommended features help you optimize your site for search engines, improve load times, and secure it against potential threats.
Click Install or Activate to enable a feature directly from this panel, empowering you to customize your site effortlessly.
Quick Links:
The Quick Links section is a curated set of shortcuts to frequently used WordPress management options. From here, you can instantly access essential tasks such as Manage Pages, Manage Posts, Media, Plugins, and more.
This section ensures that you’re always just a click away from making updates, adding new content, or configuring site settings.
Additionally, options like View Site and Check Updates allow you to monitor your site’s front-end and keep plugins and themes current.
It’s all about quick, efficient management to streamline your workflow.
Disable Comments
For websites that do not require comments, SoftWP offers a quick, one-click solution to completely disable the comment feature, streamlining the user experience.
AI
SoftWP also includes AI-powered assistant to help build and enhance your website. Use AI tools to write or rewrite content and improve the quality and consistency of your website’s content. Read more here.

SoftWP includes PopularFX Pro, offering hundreds of professional templates covering categories such as Business, Sports, Software, Restaurants, Music, Tech, and Education. This wide selection allows you to find a tailored look for almost any type of site.
Drag & Drop Editor
Having Pagelayer Pro integrated, you can build pages with ease. Pagelayer offers sections and widgets, such as Rows, Columns, Titles, Rich Text, Images, Videos, Grid Galleries, Accordions, Embed, and more. It’s also compatible with Gutenberg, allowing for a versatile editing experience.
Backups
