The best Open Source CMS Ever!
by a Guest - Anil Mahadev - August 16, 2009, 6:37 pm
I was first interested in exploring an open source CMS system, but was confused @ the number of them available. After using Drupal, I found it pretty cumbersome in performing some upgrade tasks, I lost my site twice.
But with Joomla, the process was so seamless from start to finish.
I easily upgraded my Joomla 1.5.12 site to 1.5.14 without changing anything major.
So I am glad I made Joomla the CMS Choice and powered by Softaculous Auto-Installer.
Very good

Joomla 1.5.14 and 1.5.13 is better than 1.5.15. Joomla 1.6.0 Alpha is already available.

Yes, Joomia 1.5 is easy to use, it has to be, since we run five wesites using it, but there is a learning curve, that is, if you wish to get the best from this CMS package. Yet, the results you can attain from Joomla CMS, is extremely rewarding.

1.5.15 Complicated Version of joomla
by a Guest - joseadam - April 10, 2010, 6:32 pm
This version 1.5.15 is very complicated with the permissions and php 5.3.x, for me nothing can be really done in the first way like the older, just the simple and basic template and the regular components, sorry ....

OK, here is my comment. I've been doing it all in some old-fashioned ways by coding everything manually but when I started lagging behind in everything plus my last creation was critisized all over I thought it was real high time to move on to half-stuff and prepacked systems... I hope Joomla will be as good and great as everybody says it is... If it saves your time by having many features pre-installed and basically pre-configured then that makes you already half-way done :-)
