I loved using this in the past so I thought I'd give it a go with a new site I am putting together. The problem I ran into is most of the modules are ancient and not compatible with the current release. Which yes is a huge issue as xoops depends on modules for something as simple as posting an article or adding content to your site. I'm not sure a lot of people stand by this project any more.
