Moodle is a Course Management System (CMS), also known as a Learning Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It is a Free web application that educators can use to create effective online learning sites.
The word Moodle was originally an acronym for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment, which is mostly useful to programmers and education theorists. It's also a verb that describes the process of lazily meandering through something, doing things as it occurs to you to do them, an enjoyable tinkering that often leads to insight and creativity. As such it applies both to the way Moodle was developed, and to the way a student or teacher might approach studying or teaching an online course. Anyone who uses Moodle is a Moodler.

This version is much better than 2.0.5. Significant upgrade thanks.

Ok, so I did not believe in install scripts till now.
They tended to be outdated versions of the software.
And then I could not install Magento 220.127.116.11 - released 2 weeks ago.
For fun, I tried out Softaculous and it worked like a charm.
AWESOME. Easy as can be. Thumbs up and Thanks.

I've using Moodle since 2003 and love it, mostly because of the collaborative community that supports it. In this new version, 2.2, there is a rubrics designer that is beautiful to work with, and it gives meaningful feedback to student performances and projects.

Moodle is simply amazing. I've used the appl since 2007. Outstanding smooth upgrade with no complications or challenges. You have to try it to believe it.

I've used Moodle for 8 years and I love this application. Hands down the best CMS or LMS out there.
