A critical security update has been released for WordPress. The WordPress Security Team has addressed one critical and one high-severity security vulnerability in the latest releases and recommends that all affected websites be updated immediately.

- WordPress 6.8.6
These releases contain security fixes for the affected WordPress branches. WordPress 7.0.2 and 6.9.5 address both reported vulnerabilities, while WordPress 6.8.6 includes the applicable security fix for the 6.8 branch.
