Softaculous v6.4.6 is now available, and it includes an important security fix. We recommend all users upgrade to the latest version.
Alongside the security fix, this release brings PHP 8.x compatibility fixes for CWP, VestaCP and HostingController, a fix for the XMLRPC disable rule in WordPress Manager on OpenLiteSpeed, and a bug fix in Code with AI. Here’s what changed.
Security fix in Code with AI
We’ve patched a security issue in Code with AI, the AI-assisted coding feature in Softaculous.
PHP 8.x fixes in CWP, VestaCP and HostingController
We’ve fixed PHP 8.x compatibility issues in our integrations with three control panels CWP, VestaCP and HostingController
If your servers run any of these panels on PHP 8.x, Softaculous should now work smoothly with them.
WordPress Manager: XMLRPC disable rule fixed for OpenLiteSpeed
In WordPress Manager > Security Measures, the rule that disables XMLRPC now works correctly on OpenLiteSpeed servers.
Bug fix in Code with AI
We’ve also resolved a bug in Code with AI to make the feature more stable and reliable.
Upgrade now
If you have auto-updates enabled, Softaculous will update to v6.4.6 on its own. Otherwise, you can upgrade manually from your Softaculous admin panel.
Thanks for using Softaculous. If you run into any issues, please reach out to our support team.
We are working on new features for the upcoming version.
Stay Tuned !

The Softaculous Team
